K-Swiss is designing a pair of sneakers for an e-sports team

The line between professional athlete and professional gamer continues to blur: today shoe company K-Swiss announced a deal with e-sports group The Immortals to design a pair of custom sneakers for the club. The deal is believed to be the first of its kind. The Immortals is one of North America's best-known e-sports groups, operating teams in games like Dota 2 and Clash Royale, as well as the Overwatch League's Los Angeles Valiant.

Of course, professional gamers don't need specially-designed shoes in the same way that an NBA star does, and so the deal is more about style than performance. K-Swiss describes the new kicks as a "lifestyle shoe." Apparel is becoming an increasingly intense area of interest for e-sports teams looking for new...

Razer rounds out its entry-level gaming accessories with a glowing mouse

When it comes to companies like Razer, most of the focus tends to be on the high end of the product spectrum — devices like the wireless Mamba Hyperflux wireless mouse or the glowing Blackwidow keyboard, meant for enthusiast users who want the best of the best, regardless of price.

But there are also products like the recently announced Razer Abyssus Essential, which may not pack the same high-end features like programmable buttons or adjustable tracking, but also cost far less than some of Razer's other, pricier options.

At $49.99, the Abyssus Essential is the cheapest mouse that Razer sells with its signature Chroma lighting, and the first to offer a new "underglow" lighting effect that reflects off the surface your...

This is the premise for The Swords of Ditto, and it is in no way unique. But there's something about the game's charm and structure that help it stand out. It's sort of like a classic Legend of Zelda game, but dropped into the world of a Saturday morning cartoon.

The game's title, The Swords of Ditto, doesn't actually refer to a weapon. Instead, the swords are the heroes who are meant to defend the land. You start out as one of the swords, washed up on a beach, and a flying bug tells you the deal: you have four days to eradicate an evil magical being....

Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks like Lara Croft's darkest adventure yet in gritty new trailer

Lara Croft's next adventure looks like it will be her darkest yet. After teasing the next game in the series in March, Square Enix has finally shown off the upcoming Shadow of the Tomb Raider with an extended trailer today. While it doesn't show much of how the game will play, the new clip gives a good idea of the tone — and things don't seem all that good for Lara. The three-minute trailer shows her struggling through a dark jungle, questioning "What will I become?" According to Square, the game will task Lara with saving the world from a Maya apocalypse.

The new game is being helmed by Deus Ex studio Eidos Montreal, which took over the series from Crystal Dynamics. And unlike the two most recent games in the series, it'll be launching...
